Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces.
A splendid and colorful performance by the Students of IK1, IK2, Ik3, depicting the birth of Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil. Students truly communicated the message that “Every moment of life is worth a Celebration. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
Children came dressed in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted the varied images of life from birth to manhood transporting one to the world of splendor, colour, myth and legend.
Activity: Janmashtami card
Help your kids make their grandparents a cute little Janmashtami Card, as shown in The Soiree Book. Cut out a matki-shaped piece of cardstock and let the kids decorate it with pictures of Krishna, peacock feathers or other similar themes.
